2 Interstate 75 projects impact travel around Findlay

Ohio Department of Transportation announced two projects that impact traffic on Interstate 75 around Findlay next week:.

• Interstate 75 northbound, on the southern end of the city of Findlay, will have overnight lane restrictions in the two right lanes for bridge maintenance.

The left lane will remain open.

The work zone will begin south of the U.S. 68 interchange and extend to just past the U.S. 68 fly over ramp. 

The lane closures will begin on Thursday, April 22, at 7 p.m. and extend until 7 a.m. on Friday.

New Leaf celebrates 30th anniversary

New Leaf Lawn and Garden Center, 0395 State Route 235, Ada, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month, according to Laurie Laird, owner. Several special sales, listed in its Icon display ad, are available. 

Current hours are Mondays to Fridays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to J.D. Power 2021 U.S. Full Service Investor Satisfaction Study(SM)

Financial services firm Edward Jones ranks highest in investor satisfaction with full-service brokerage firms, according to the J.D. Power 2021 U.S. Full-Service Investor Satisfaction Study(SM), the firm announced.

Swimmers on your mark!

After a one-year absence Bluffton Sardines swim team is back

After a one-year covid-19 absence, Bluffton Sardines swim team is back.

The team competes in the Western Ohio Aquatics League (WOAL). In 2019, the most recent swim season, Bluffton finished second of eight teams in the league meet, closely behind Westside.

This year several members of the team competed Putnam County YMCA swim team and with  Lima YMCA swim team. Several of those swimmers qualified for the Great Lake Zones championships in March at BGSU.
