Herbert Reichenbach 1922-2011

Herb Reichenbach

Herbert E. Reichenbach, 88 died at 7:05 p.m. March 4, 2011 at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. He was born April 10, 1922 in Bluffton, Ohi,o to Amos W. and Mary Ann (Welty) Reichenbach.

On June 19, 1943 he married Dorothy Agner and she preceded him in death. He retired from Triplett Corporation, Bluffton. He was a member of Pandora Missionary Church. He enjoyed woodworking. He was a school bus driver for Bluffton Schools for many years. He drove truck from Steiner Stockyards, Bluffton. He also farmed with his father. He was a Bluffton High School graduate Class of 1941.

Next Jane Austen film Tuesday at the public library

Northanger Abbey is this week's Jane Austen film show at the Bluffton Public Library. The show is at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 8. The film showing is part of Bluffton University' Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR) and the Friends of the Library.

A discussion of the film will follow its showing.

90 percent of hospital drywall hung in operation rooms

Lots of construction work is planned next week at Bluffton Hospital. Here's a report:

Last week we were able to get the first layer of wood on the canopy so that field measuring can now take place for the exterior finish material this week. The underside of the canopy saw great strides toward completion with the fire sprinkler and metal studding in the finishing stage.
