This year’s Ride to Remember bike ride on Saturday, July 16, has several new features with special invitations to the community that turns the event into a community fun day.

Last year’s inaugural ride attracted 100 bikers to Bluffton. This year hopes to have more riders, plus activities for the community.

Here’s the plan so far:

• An 8 a.m. mass start takes place at Bluffton Family Recreation on Snider Road.  The mass start includes a “parade” of riders southbound on Main Street to the Dairy Freeze where various routes split.

Wild!

Three years, a lot of hard work, and $200 worth of seeds gets you a quarter acre of countless blooms. Tammy (pictured) and Mike Bradshaw have developed an eyecatching display in front of their home in the country midway between Ada and Bluffton. In late June the wildflower meadow garden bursts into yellow. Soon, other colors will emerge. You'll find bachelor buttons, daisies, and more. To drive past to see the flower display from Ada, take County Line Road north, cross Old US 30, it's in the next mile on the left.
