April 2024 Bluffton Police Docket

The Bluffton, Ohio Police Department has released the following Police Docket for April 2024:

April 3

Officers arrested a Bluffton resident for Driving Under Suspension following a traffic stop for a registration violation in the area of Harmon Road near Poplar Street. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

Officers responded to the university for an Assault complaint.

Officers responded to the 400 block of County Line Road for a Burglary complaint. The tenant arrived home and noticed his door was open after he secured it earlier in the day. Officer’s made sure no one was inside the apartment and the tenant did not notice anything missing or out of the ordinary.

April 9

Officers responded to a dispute in the 200 block of North Lawn Avenue. After a brief investigation into the incident, all parties involved voluntarily separated for the night.

Pirate softball blanked by Bath

BATH __ The Bluffton High School softball team lost 23-0 at Bath in a non-conference game Friday evening, May 3.

The Pirate girls dropped to 1-11 overall after the loss. 

Bath improved to 10-10 overall with the victory. The hosts slugged three home runs and two doubles in the win.

The Wildcats plated 11 runs in the top of the first to take a big early lead.

The hosts added seven runs in the third, and four more in the fourth.
