Letter: Allen County rape crisis response to Steubenville Incident

Crime Victim Services (CVS) would like to respond to the incident that occurred in Steubenville by presenting information about rape and what is being done on a local level that will help keep our children safe from similar incidences that can occur.

IRS plans Jan. 30 tax season opening for 1040 filers

Following the January tax law changes made by Congress under the American Taxpayer Relief Act (ATRA), the Internal Revenue Service announced today it plans to open the 2013 filing season and begin processing individual income tax returns on Jan. 30.

BAMA pulpit exchange Sunday - here's who's preaching where

On Sunday, Jan. 13, some Bluffton clergy will be playing a form of 'musical chairs' with their pulpits.  

In recognition of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) mixes things up a bit with a pulpit exchange in which participating churches have guest preachers from the other churches and institutions in Bluffton.

As many of our readers know, Gordon Diller has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma and is currently hospitalized at the James Cancer Center, Columbus. Gordon and Jodi are grateful for the many prayers, caring thoughts and gestures extended to them by the community.

First week of the new year - daily highs just above freezing
