Kindergarten screening coming up April 15 - 17

Bluffton Elementary School has scheduled Kindergarten screening for Monday, April 15 through Wednesday, April 17.  

Any child who will be five years old by August 1 is eligible to enroll.

Silver Lining Playbook screening at Shannon Theatre

Opening at the Shannon Theatre Friday, March 1 and playing through Thursday, March 7 is Silver Lining Playbook (R).

 

After a stint in a mental institution, former teacher Pat Solitano moves back in with his parents and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife. Things get more challenging when Pat meets Tiffany, a mysterious girl with problems of her own. (IMDb)

Show times are every evening at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Will Pope named honorable mention All-HCAC

Junior Will Pope (Somerville/Preble Shawnee) earned honorable mention All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference recognition for his play during the 2012-13 campaign.

It is Pope’s first post-season All-HCAC award after battering opponents on the block all season.
