March-April 2024 land transfers report for the greater Bluffton area

The following 29 land transfers took place in the Bluffton Exempted Village School District during February, March and April 2024, as reported on the websites of Allen County Auditor Rachael S. Gilroy and Hancock County Auditor Charity A. Rauschenberg.

Wilbur L. Bracy served in the U.S. Army

Wilbur L. Bracy, 90, passed away May 4, 2024 at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.

Pirate softball blanked by Bath

BATH __ The Bluffton High School softball team lost 23-0 at Bath in a non-conference game Friday evening, May 3.

The Pirate girls dropped to 1-11 overall after the loss. 

Bath improved to 10-10 overall with the victory. The hosts slugged three home runs and two doubles in the win.

The Wildcats plated 11 runs in the top of the first to take a big early lead.

The hosts added seven runs in the third, and four more in the fourth.
