14-year-old Ada girl reported missing by police

FROM ADA ICON - On April 23 the Ada Police Department took a report of a missing juvenile. 

The incident occurred in Ada.  According to the report, Elizabeth Saracson was spending the night at her sister's on Friday April 22.  Elizabeth was last seen around 10 p.m. that night at her sister’s house. 

Elizabeth is 14 years old and is a white female with brown hair slightly below her shoulders and brown eyes. Elizabeth has a mole on her neck.

Monthly Cars and Coffee scheduled for second season at Heated Vehicle Storage

Heated Vehicle Storage, 906 N. Main St. (next to Masterpiece Signs), will again host a monthly Bluffton Cars and Coffee this summer and fall, according to Tim Boutwell.

The event is an “informal gathering for enthusiasts and their cars.” The monthly cars and coffee event starts in May and continues through October. It is always held on the fourth Saturday of the month.

Each event is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the following Saturdays: May 28, June 25, July 23, Aug. 27, Sept. 24 and Oct. 22.

Citizens National Bank hosts Financial Fair on Friday

Each Citizens National Bank branch will host a Financial Fair on Friday, April 29, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in celebration of Community Banking Month.

This fun educational event will feature information about CNB’s newest products as well as games and prizes. The bank’s tech experts will be on hand to answer questions regarding CNB’s mobile banking products and business banking officers and mortgage lenders will be available to discuss business and home loan needs. Cake will be served.

Beavers go to extras for series win at Franklin

FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Bluffton University baseball team came away with a series victory over Franklin College thanks to a 7-6 win in 10 innings on Sunday, April 24. With the win, the Beavers improved to 12-20 overall and 7-12 in HCAC play, while the Grizzlies fell to 12-20 with a 7-12 HCAC mark.

FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Bluffton University baseball team split a doubleheader with the Franklin College Grizzlies on Saturday, April 23. The Beavers won the opener, 4-1, before a big second inning doomed them to a 14-4 nightcap defeat. Bluffton moved to 11-20 overall and 6-12 in HCAC action, while the Grizzlies stand 12-19 and 7-11 in the conference.
