Pizza planetarium party Nov. 4

Oakwoods Nature Preserve, rural Findlay

A Pizza Planetarium Party will be held at Oakwoods Nature Preserve’s Richard S. “Doc” Phillips Discovery Cente, rural Findlay, on Friday, Nov. 4, at 6 p.m. 

The moon and Mars will soon be close to each other and the Taurid meteor shower will reach its maximum rate of activity on this night. Pizza will be served and a stellar craft will be available for children to make and take home.

This program is recommended for children ages four and up. Register with $5 per person for ages 13 and up and $3 per person for children ages 4-12 by Thursday, Nov. 3, at 4:30 p.m. Children ages three and under are free. There is a minimum of six and a maximum of 25 participants for this program.

Oakwoods Nature Preserve’s Richard S. “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center is located at 1400 Oakwoods Lane, off CR 144, west of Findlay.
