Beverly Steiner was retired director of laboratory operations at Bluffton Hospital

She was a Pandora-Gilboa graduate

Beverly Steiner, 82,  died Feb. 15, 2017, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

Beverly was born April 22, 1934, in Bluffton, Ohio, to Albert and Irene (Cherry) Schutz who preceded her in death. On July 6, 1957, she married Ralph Steiner who preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 2016.

Beverly graduated from Pandora-Gilboa High School and The University of Toledo. Before her retirement, Beverly worked as Director of Laboratory Operations for Bluffton Hospital. She then had a retirement career as a Pampered Chef consultant. She was a member of College First Church of God, Findlay, and a former member of Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora.

Survivors include a son, T.R. (Judy) Steiner of Bluffton; a daughter, Kim (Doug) Hudson of Mount Cory; five grandchildren, Dr. Emily Steiner of St. Louis, Missouri, Tad Steiner of Bluffton, Ibrahim Choudhry of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Suleymaan (Lexi) Choudhry of New York, New York, Zara-Yasmine (Russell Baird, fiance) Choudhry of Perrysburg; five sisters, Mildred (Roy, deceased) Lugibihl of Pandora, Janice (Clay ) Stallworth of St. Simons Island, Georgia, Virginia (Fred) Saam of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Agnes (Andre) DaCosta of Hillsboro, North Carolina, Julie (Vidal) Jimenez of Cachipay, Columbia.

Beverly is preceded in death by a brother, James (Carol) Schutz.

Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora, with Pastor Bill Reist officiating the service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, Findlay, or Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
