A trip to the fire station

Children from the Bluffton Community Preschool Tuesday/ Thursday three- and four-year-old classes visited the Bluffton fire station and discovered fireman John Bowers is not so scary inside all of his fire gear. Bowers hands out a treat to children from the Preschool after a ride on the fire truck and visit to the fire station during Fire Prevention Week.

British comedy of manners "Smash" coming to Ramseyer Auditorium

Tickets are available for Bluffton University’s production of “Smash,” a British comedy of manners by Jeffrey Hatcher.

Lorraine Aldridge 1925-2015

Lorraine Aldridge, 90,  died Oct. 8, 2015, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.  Lorraine was born Aug. 20, 1925, in Carver, Kentucky to the late Joe and Roxie (Dyer) Cole. On Feb. 5, 1949, she married John Aldridge who preceded her in death in February of 1993.

Lorraine was a homemaker and member of Victory in the Cross Ministries, Findlay.

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Beaver football team hosted Heartland Conference heavyweight Rose-Hulman at Salzman Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 10, as the showcase piece of Homecoming 2015 on the campus of Bluffton University.  The Beavers fell to 2-3 overall with a 1-2 mark in the HCAC. RHIT improved to an impressive 5-0 overall with a spotless 3-0 record in the conference. 

Bluffton men drop 1-0 decision at Earlham

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Bluffton men’s soccer team battled for most of the contest, but could not overcome an early goal in suffering a 1-0 loss at the hands of Earlham College. The win pushed the Quakers to .500 at 5-5 (2-1 HCAC). The Beavers dropped to 0-11 on the season and 0-3 in the conference.
