There's a new video in town and it features local actors - who really aren't acting. They are simply being themselves.

The  video release party was Feb. 21.

Patrons from the library's service area were encouraged via social media, the library’s website, printed flyers, and by word of mouth to come to the library to be filmed explaining why they love their library.

Many patrons came in to be filmed; some even sent in homemade videos.

"We wish to thank every participant who gave up time to share why they utilize and love Bluffton Public Library," said Jessica Hermiller, library administrator.

The video also features a new logo for the library. Within this logo are three crisp, new colors the library will use for its brand, as well as a revamping of the familiar “villagescape” from the previous logo.

This illustration portion of the logo depicts the welcoming businesses and neighborhoods the library connects with and serves. The tagline for the logo remains: “Our library. Our community.”
