October 10 MHCO Gala supports Benevolent Care Fund

Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio will host its 3rd Annual Gala on October 10, 2024.  This year’s theme will be Boots &  Bandanas and guests will be invited to wear their favorite western attire. 

Platinum Sponsor Plante Moran is leading the way with its support for the Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio Benevolent Care Fund, which provides support to care for older adults who have outlived their resources.

PHOTO Beavers kick off tailgate season on Sept. 21

Get ready for the roar: Bluffton University will host the first Beaver tailgate of the season from 4:30-7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, in the Salzman Stadium parking lot. The first 2024 home football game will follow at 7 p.m. vs Trine under the lights.

Ordinance Committee on Wednesday, September 18 at 5:00 p.m.

Council Meeting on Monday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m.

All meetings take place at Town Hall unless noted otherwise.

Pirate football hosts Military Appreciation Night, Sept. 20

Friday Night Football (9/20) vs. Spencerville will be Military Appreciation Night at Bluffton High School's Harmon Field.

All current and former members of the U.S Armed Services will get free admission and are invited to join the Football team on the sideline for the National Anthem.

Pirate boys soccer romps past Mustangs

HARROD __ The visiting Bluffton High School boys soccer team rolled over backyard rival Allen East, 7-0, in a Northwest Conference match Monday, September 16, at Goodwin Field.

Jackson Brauen scored two goals and passed out a pair of assists to pace the Pirate offense to victory. Chase Kelly dished out four assists as well.

The Pirate record improved to 4-6 overall and 2-0 in NWC play with the lopsided victory. AE fell to 1-7-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the NWC after the defeat.
