Masks help stop the infected from infecting others

There are two reasons to wear a mask:
• to protect *yourself* against what's out there, so you can personally try to avoid infection, and
• to protect *others* from what *you* may have so that you don't infect the community.
The second reason is what some doctors and epidemiologists are emphasizing as an important tool for fighting COVID-19. They are not recommending you keep N95 masks.
Stick with authoritative sources and be skeptical about offers and suggestions that aren’t backed up by references.

Wow, what a difference a month makes. Much of what the BCE had planned for March went by the wayside. With non-essential business being conducted from home, we’re all learning to adjust.
I’ll be leading my first Zoom video meeting this week and have taken to paying with my smart phone when I can. This old girl is learning new tricks!
Ralph W. Beemer, 91, died March 30, 2020, at his residence. Ralph was born Feb. 1, 1929, in Beaverdam to the late Roy and Florence (Walters) Beemer.
Ralph graduated from Beaverdam High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a foreman at Hatfield Oldsmobile in Maumee, Ohio. Ralph was affiliated with the Beaverdam Church of Christ. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener, wood worker and enjoyed the outdoors.
Interstate 75 northbound in Findlay will be restricted to one lane on Wednesday, April 1, and Thursday, April 2, for beam setting over the railroad.
On both days, the restriction will begin at noon and continue until four beams are set.
The right lane of Interstate 75 northbound will close from the southern end of the project, just south of Harrison Street/county Road 144, to the Sandusky Street overpass, which is just south of the state Route 12 interchange.

Dr. William Kose, Blanchard Valley Health System medical officer, says the triage and testing tent outside the Bluffton Hospital is working well after seven days.
