Mike, what year are you at Bluffton University, where is your hometown and what position do you play on the Bluffton University football team?

I'm a senior linebacker, from Trenton, New Jersey. 

What's your major at Bluffton?
Business administration.

I understand you stayed on campus this past summer. What was your job?
I worked for Buildings and Grounds at the university on the paint crew.

Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio invites Icon viewers to its dedication and open house of Willow Ridge Green House homes on Sunday, Octy. 14.

1-2 p.m. - Dedication and celebration (at Maple Crest)
2-3 p.m. - Tour of Green House homes
6:30-7:30 p.m. - Book signing, story telling and folk concert by Dr. Bill Thomas

Jeanne’s Kitchen, 112 Vine St., Bluffton, will host another Italian heritage night, with an evening of food and entertainment from 4 to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13.

According to Jeanne Previte, customers may eat in the restaurant or on Vine Street, where tables will be set up. Chuck Summers will entertain with his jazz saxophone during the evening.

The menu will be similar to this summer’s Taste of Summer hosted by Jeanne’s held in July. The menu is all a la carte. No reservations are necessary.

The menu includes:

Bluffton's Main Street meat market, The Dough Hook, 117 N. Main St., is taking orders for Thanksgiving turkeys.

The turkeys are:

• Ohio raised
•  fresh (never frozen)
• gourmet
• free-range
• antibiotic free
• all vegetable fed
• ready to cook

The final day to place an order is Saturday, Nov. 10. Call 419-369-4264 to place an order.

Bluffton First United Methodist Church will holds is election day lunch and dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the church.

Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu includes:
• homemade soups, $2
• sandwiches, $2
• salads, 75 cents
• desserts, $1.50
• beverages, 50 cents

Dinner is served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The menu includes:
• baked steak
• mashed potatoes
• vegetable
• roll
• dessert and beverage.

Dinner is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 10 and under.
