X-rays taken on Miguel Cabrera's face yesterday revealed a small fracture under the slugger's right eye. It appears he will be out for a little while in an attempt to heal both the fractured bone and the cut that took stitches to close.

Bluffton police continue to investigate possible leads in an incident that took place in Bluffton over the weekend. The Icon understands that it took place near the Main Street-College Avenue intersection.
"An 18-year-old male was walking along the sidewalk and was assaulted by an unidentified black male in his late teens or early 20s," Rick Skilliter, Bluffton police chief, informed The Icon. "We would encourage anyone who may have seen the incident happen to contact the police to provide additional leads for us to follow up."
Bridge Bereavement Services will offer a workshop for understanding grief on Monday, April 2, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Beckett Meeting Room at Blanchard Valley Hospital. The event is for individuals 18 years of age and older and is open to the public.
This three-hour workshop will help participants learn more about the grief process including how to identify essential physical, emotional, cognitive, social and spiritual actions that will aid in healing.
