The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce is in the midst of its 2012 new membership drive and the benefits of a chamber membership have never been better.
With its 151 members, the chamber invites businesses, industries, organizations and individuals to consider a membership this month.
Several benefits come with a Bluffton chamber membership. New members who join in February receive a 10 percent discount in their 12-month membership.

Elective deferrals
If you're lucky enough to be eligible to participate in a 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), or SAR-SEP plan, you can make elective deferrals of up to $17,000 in 2012, up from $16,500 in 2011.
The Service Group of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio hosts a soup and sandwich supper from 4 to 6:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 27, in the chapel of the Mennonite Memorial Home, 410 W. Elm St., Bluffton.
The supper will be available for dining-in or carry-out. The menu includes the following soups: broccoli and cheese, ham and bean, and chicken-noodle vegetable.
Sandwiches include shredded beef and barbecue pork. A variety of homemade pies are available. The cost for a bowl of soup, sandwich and slice of piece with beverage is $8. For children 10 and under, the cost is $4.
