Earl W. Lehman, 89 of Bluffton died at 5:27 p.m. Sept. 24, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Arrangements are incomplete at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton.

Meeting of entrepreneurs

Poet to give reading at Bluffton

Dr. Philip Metres, a poet and member of the English faculty at John Carroll University, will read from his work at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the Musselman Library Reading Room at Bluffton University. The event, beginning with refreshments at 3:45 p.m., is free and open to the public.

Metres' writing has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, including Best American Poetry. He is also the author of several books, most recently the 2008 collection, "To See the Earth."
