BLUFFTON – The Bluffton Pirate volleyball team swept visiting Northwest Conference rival Lima Central Catholic Thursday, September 26.
The Pirates won for the 13th time in 15 matches.
The Pirates improved to 14-3 overall and 3-1 in NWC action after the 25-13, 25-11, 25-20 win. LCC fell to 2-11 overall and 1-3 in NWC play after the loss.
First-place Crestview is 13-2 overall and 6-0 in the NWC.

On Wednesday, September 25, Lt. Governor Husted presented Apollo Career Center with $1.1M in Career Technical Education funds through a grant collaboratively written with Ada Exempted Village Schools and Allen East Schools.
CONVOY – The visiting Bluffton High School volleyball team lost a five-set marathon to Northwest Conference rival Crestview in a key showdown of league unbeatens Tuesday night.
The Pirates won the second and third sets and went into extra time in the fourth game, but could not close the Knights out on the road.
The Pirates dropped to 13-3 overall and 2-1 in NWC action with the tight 25-18, 26-28, 23-25, 26-24, 15-9 defeat.
