Saturday's Bluffton's Fall Festival was a great success. One of the contributing parties to the event are these two horses who hauled Festival-goers around town during the afternon. You'll see these two again at this year's Blaze of Lights on Nov. 29.
It was a perfect Friday night homecoming football contest for the Northwest Conference as 1-3 Bluffton host 1-3 Ada and both teams put on a gun show.
Unfortunately Bluffton could not hold on as Ada takes a 42-41 victory in the last seconds of the game.
After a scoreless 1st quarter, Pirate's Mitchell Ault completed a 25-yard pass to receiver Robbie Stratton for a touchdown. Point after kick by Dylan Alt was good Bluffton was in control 7-0.

The Bluffton school board will act on the purchase of approximately 2.23 acres of property along Triplett Drive-Harmon Road at its Monday night meeting.
The property is the parking lot of the former Triplett Corp. The land extends from East College Avenue to the north edge of the Steinmetz Soccer Field. The purchase price is $50,000.
