Bluffton University faculty members outlined new opportunities for a cross-cultural experience and a master of business administration degree program at a May 3 “faculty showcase,” as part of May Day activities on campus.

Dr. Paul Neufeld Weaver, an associate professor of education at Bluffton, discussed a new cross-cultural option for students in Guatemala, while Dr. George Lehman, the Howard Raid professor of business, addressed the development of The Collaborative MBA program.

On Saturday, May 10, letter carriers in Bluffton and Beaverdam will participate in the Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. The nationwide food drive is the largest one day food collection in the country, filling food pantries and food banks.

It is easy to help and participate. Just collect and bag non-perishable food items or paper products and or toiletries and place by your mailbox (early Saturday morning) or bring
them to the Bluffton Post Office.

Bluffton American Legion Post 382 is encouraging interested persons to decorate their
bicycles with red, white and blue for the Bluffton Memorial Day parade on Monday, May
26. 

Families are encouraged to participate. All decorated bicycles and their riders will be a part of the parade. Participants are asked to be in front of the town hall by 9 a.m., before the start of the parade at 9:30 a.m.
