Meet Bluffton’s new year’s baby of 2014. And, as we’ll soon demonstrate, he’s related to nearly everyone in Bluffton and Pandora.
He’ll no doubt graduate from Pandora-Gilboa High School in 2032, and from Bluffton University in 2036. In between, he’ll probably work at Suter’s Produce in the summer and at the Suter Cider Press in the fall.
It may not be the Bluebird of Happiness, but this male red-headed woodpecker proves that today's weather in Bluffton is for the birds. He's pecking away at peanuts at one of the Icon's bird feeders.
With Hancock County and Putnam County under Level 3 road emergencies, the following Blanchard Valley Health Systems medical offices and departments are now closed today:
Bluffton village offices are closed today (Monday). The Bluffton council meeting has been moved to Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 8 p.m., according to Dennis Gallant, mayor.
All parking restrictions are in affect. Police will be working with snow plows to keep streets opened as possible.
Residents are encouraged to stay home if possible. Hancock County is at a LEVEL 3, Putnam County is at a LEVEL 3, and Allen County is at a LEVEL 2 as of 8 a.m.
