The Lima/Allen County Convention and Visitors' Bureau keeps an up-to-date listing of all of the 'haunted happenings' including trick-or-treat nights for the entire county.
Stratton Auto Sales, 220 N. Main St., Bluffton, offers a $39.95 fall car care package, according to Amie Stratton.
The package includes:
• Standard oil and filter change
• 4-tire rotation
• Balance 4 tires
• Top off under-the-hood fluids
• Complete vehicle inspection, including brakes
• Battery/charging system check
• Examine all belts and hoses
The price, plus tax, includes up to five quarts of standard oil. Additional charges for synthetic oil and diesel trucks.
The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District.
The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four. In order to pick up a box, you must register by calling 419-384-3038 by 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21.
Boxes will be available to be picked up on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at the Grace Mennonite Church located at 502 East Main Street, Pandora.
St. John's United Church of Christ has several activities taking place in October. The church newsletter "Seredipity" is now available for Icon viewers.

The Bluffton High School offense only had to attempt five passes as they racked up 292 yards on the ground with four touchdowns as The Pirates beat Allen East 42-12.
The defense played a great game as well as Allen East was held to a mere 155 yards.
Noah Stratton started off the evening with back-to-back rushing touchdowns in the first quarter with 22-yard and 15-yard runs. Stratton led the Pirates with 106 yards on 16 carries.
Devin Luginbuhl ran one in from five yards out for the third score of the game in the second quarter.
