Sorry, can’t recall my first-ever meeting with Abraham Rudolf Steiner. Probably because of a focus on the larger question: “How did I get here?”

I do know it was Nov. 9, 1949. Thanks to my baby book, the roll of visitors on my first day in Bluffton includes the name “A.R.” Steiner.

He was 7; I had yet to experience my first-ever sundown.

A.R.  claims he can’t remember our first meeting either, so, I don’t feel that bad.

The Icon spotted this Hancock County plate recently in Ada. Can any viewer explain the meaning?

Santa shared Reagan's letter with the Icon and mentioned how he always loves when the kids draw him pictures.

Dear Santa,

For Christmas I want Lego friends sets.  Next I want a novi stars doll. Probably una verse. Next I want the purple password journal.  I want McKenna, the American girl doll. I want some new clothes and dresses.  I also want app store and itunes money. I really want a kindle. And the thing I want most is a purple microphone with sparkled designs. That is all I want for Christmas.

Although it peaked on Thursday night, you will still have many opportunites to see several shooting stars tonight, Friday, Dec. 14, into Saturday.

The Geminid meteor shower is one of the best star shows of the year.  Icon veiwers can really take advantage of this tonight.

Many of us here in the northern hemisphere are likely more familiar with the annual Perseid meteor shower.   That takes place in the summer, when it is a lot easier to leave the house and find a nice open field or dark area to sit.
