Here is a beautiful photo of Bluffton's Main Street sometime after 1906. We know that because the Western Ohio Railway tracks are in the center of Main Street.
There are several things to examine closely in this photo, which we would guess was taken by Will Triplett. The original photo measures 8 by 6 inches and was probably a contact print from the negative.
The contest offers viewers the chance to pick winners of 29 bowls held between Dec. 24 all the way to the BCE title game on Jan. 9.
The first bowl in the contest features Nevada (7-5) vs. Southern Mississippi (11-2) in the Dec. 24 Hawaii Bowl. The deadline for entering the contest is 6 p.m. on Christmas eve.
The photo on the home page is simply a close up of this view of the Bluffton University sports and fitness center going up this winter. The building just north of Marbeck and Founders Hall.
The man in the red suit is making his appearances in Bluffton this month. on Dec. 14 he met youth at the Bluffton McDonald's Restaurant. Click here for a video.
