Jane A. Everett Leaveck, 60 died at 10:55 PM Dec. 8, 2011, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born Nov. 14, 1951, in Bluffton to Lyle and Evelyn (Steinman) Everett.

She was a homemaker and had previously worked at Ingalls Restaurant in Bluffton. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Bluffton and was a 1970 graduate of Bluffton High School.

Survivors include two brothers Bob (Pam) Everett of Bluffton and Randy (Jaimie) Everett of Ottawa; a sister Jana (Wayne) Huber of Bluffton; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Chamber recognizes Rodabaugh

Fred Rodabaugh, Jim Harder and Eric Fulcomer have a laugh following Friday's chamber breakfast. The event, a "roast" of the outgoing mayor, featured David Rodabaugh, Fred's brother, as the speaker. Click for a video.

Two Bluffton school Christmas concerts on are this evening's school calendar.

At 6 p.m., in the middle school cafetorium, is the middle school choir concert.

At 7 p.m., in the cafetorium, is the Bluffton High School choir concert.

The Bluffton Public Library features the Dulcimer Gatherin' from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Free refreshments will be provided during these special events, courtesy of the Friends of the Bluffton Public Library.^aEUR"

A very special tree

Patrons of the Bluffton Public Library are invited to participate in the third annual holiday giving tree at the library. By making a donation, persons may honor someone, rememeber a loved one or mark a special occasion. Ornaments are available with those donations.

The Apollo Career Center has released the agenda for its Dec. 12 board meeting. The agenda is an attachment at the bottom of this story.

"Pantasia," the award-winning Findlay High School Steel Drum Band entertained members of the Bluffton Lions Club and their spouces during the club's Christmas banquet held at the middle school.

The band is directed by Tim Mattis a Bluffton University graduate. The Band has 35 pans covering 14 voices and a drum set. While the band was playing the audience was invited to walk in and around the
members as they performed.
