Icon advertiser The Inn at Ohio Northern University will host a Food and Wine charitable event for the Ada Public Library Thursday, Sept. 15, at 6:30 p.m.
It will take place in the garden courtyard (weather permitting). The evening's menu will feature "Farm-to-Table" selections paired with fine wines.
Part of the event proceeds will be donated to the library's Headstart program. This program allows children to receive important education through a number of board books, story times, games and more.

More Than 500 Volunteers To Come To The Area
On Saturday, Sept. 24, several hundred volunteers from churches and communities throughout the region will come to Lima to revitalize a neighborhood in just eight hours.
The area being impacted is the neighborhood surrounding Liberty Arts Magnet School on Kibby Street. Volunteers will participate in up to 80 projects including painting, trimming, mulching, planting, cleaning city blocks and parking lots, doing home repairs and more.
Bluffton Hospital is now treating patients in its new Emergency Department. Those seeking care from the Emergency Department can enter through the ER entrance on the corner of Harmon and Kibler Streets.
The newly opened ER will allow Bluffton Hospital to care for an increasing number of patients with more private treatment areas than the previous ER space. It also features a more private registration area.
Stacy Taylor is a believer in what she calls "karma credits," and based on her career odyssey of late, with seemingly good reason.
The 2004 Bluffton University graduate is convinced that helping others, whether receiving something in return immediately or not, will be rewarded eventually.
