On Sunday, Aug. 19, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera,will return to its fall schedule of two Sunday services.
Worship will be at 8 and 10:30 a.m. with Sunday School and Bible Class for all ages beginning at 9:20 a.m. The Tuesday evening service at 7:30 p.m. will continue through Sept. 4. The church is handicapped accessible and all are welcome. More information is at tlcjenera.org
Trinity Lutheran School opening service Aug. 20
The Bluffton Area Tennis Association held a Women's Doubles Tournament last weekend. Six teams started Friday night wearing their cold weather gear and battled each other until 5 pm Saturday.
The tournament was epic as usual and ended in a close final match between Desrene Brown/Cindy Schneck and Jeanna Haggard/Barb Prince.
Haggard/Prince came out on top to earn first place trophies and bragging rights for an entire year.

Drive Time Driving Instruction, offering driver education classes in Bluffton, has a new series of classes being Sept. 9, according to Doug Kisseberth of Drive Time.

Fourth District State Representative, Matt Huffman, R, toured Bluffton on Aug. 7. Speaking first at Bluffton Lions at noon, he later toured Diamond Industries (formerly Colonial Surface Solutions), and Bluffton Hospital.
In his tour of the Diamond Manufacturing, he saw the newly expanded portion of the industry, which included 30,000 square feet. That expansion is for warehouse space, which will free up space used by Diamond in the original building.
The Diamond business, originally located in Delphos, was purchased by Colonial Surface Solutions in 2010.
The Bluffton High School vs. Pandora-Gilboa football scrimmage information has changed. The scrimmage is now set for Harmon Field, Friday, Aug. 17, at 6 p.m.
