Some Bluffton residents are taking on a big and long challenge this week.
Everett Collier, Marilyn Bishop, Bill Suter and Pat and Dennis Sheidler, are participating in a bike path ride called Rails and Trails Greenway Sojourn.
The event takes place Sunday, June 17, to Sunday, June 24, and begins at the nation's capital, Washington, D.C.
Richland Manor, 7400 Swaney Road, Bluffton, will host its fifth annual Friday Night Cruise-in on June 22 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will have food, including hot dogs and hamburgers and a DJ playing music from the '50s and '60s era.
"We just want people to come out, look at cars, eat food and listen to music," said Barry Schneck, community services representative for Richland Manor.
The event will be the same as in years' past but Schneck says this year's event includes Richland Manor's second annual independence from hunger food drive.
