I have felt very much "at home" here at Woods Hole. The surroundings and the people are different from those I left behind in Bluffton the first of June, but it's been home nevertheless. Some things are different, but I find many things to feel the same.
You may not be able to tell a good book by its cover, but you certainly can identify a good used book store when you see one.
Bluffton has such a gem. Book ReViews has officially moved from 115 N. Main to 123 S. Main St., and according to Ruth Unrau, the new space is much larger than the previous one.
The shop offers "thousands of books," according to Unrau, who has yet to unpack all the books that have moved to the new location.
Store hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Trent Wagler and The Steel Wheels will perform at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 3, in the Bluffton Town Hall Concert Series. The performance is on the third floor of the town hall.

Bluffton Trinity and Jenera United Methodist Church will host a mobile food pantry at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 24, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 2022 State Route 103.
The pantry will be open until the food runs out. It is open to persons who have a need. The pantry will include over 5,000 pounds of free food. The visit of the pantry to Bluffton is in partnering with the West Ohio Food Bank.

Emmanuel United Church of Christ will hold its annual ice cream social from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 22, at the church, located at 8375 Phillips Road.
The menu includes shredded chicken or barbecue beef sandwiches, chicken noodles, baked beans, a variety of salads, pies and cakes, plus ice cream and beverages. The event is open to the public.

The registration deadline for the second Bluffton Community Garage Sale has been extended to July 22. The previous deadline was July 17. The Friends of the Bluffton Public Library are sponsoring this event as one of their major fundraisers for the year.
"We hope members of Bluffton will clean out their closets and garages and offer their no longer needed furniture, books, toys, kitchen items, antiques, canning jars, clothes, and appliances for sale Aug 5 and 6 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Aug. 7 from 8 p.m. until the seller wishes to close," said Janis Potter of the Friends."
