Rhythm In Motion Dance Centre' of Ada will send 17 area dancers to Cleveland to dance Prime Time performance at 7 p.m. pre-game of the Cleveland Cavs vs. Chicago Bulls battle on Friday, April 18, according to Darcy Schneider of the studio.
"Rhythm in Motion Dance Centre' was invited back to Quickens Loans Arena to perform in this once in a lifetime performance for the second year in a row," she said.
Scheider submitted an audition tape to the Cavs and RIMDC was selected again for the 2010-2011 season.
The Bluffton University men's basketball team moved back into Heartland Conference action when it traveled to Hanover College on Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Hanover used a 10-0 run to start the game and an 8-0 spurt right before halftime to secure a 66-55 win over the Beavers. The Panthers won their eighth straight game in improving to 9-2 overall and 5-0 in the HCAC, while Bluffton fell to 8-4 and 1-4 in the conference.

The Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary is in the process of collecting items for its upcoming auction fund-raiser, according to Diane Stratton.
"We are now collecting items for the auction. We need your support. Please bring new or nearly new items in and drop them off at the administration office of the hospital," she said.

The Bluffton Elementary PTO will hold its annual winter Bakery Bingo from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29, in the middle school cafetorium, according to Mandy Klinger, PTO president.
"Baked goods are won as Bingo prizes. We also have many raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing, $1 a ticket or six tickets for $5," she said.
Concessions may be purchased during the event, including Luke's pizza.
"This is a fun family and community event and is the largest fundraiser for Bluffton Elementary PTO," said Klinger.

Jeff Laing of Bluffton is the winner of the Common Grounds-Bluffton Icon guess the number of Icon coffee beans in the container contest.
The official count of beans totaled 5,612, according to Phil Zimmerly of Common Grounds. Laing displayed his bean-counting skill by guessing 5,844 beans, which was off by only 232 beans.
He wins one large specialty drink and sandwich from Common Grounds, plus will be interviewed in The Icon's 15-minute interview feature.
