On a cold and blustery day, the Bluffton baseball team came up short, 6-3, against Mount St. Joseph on Sunday, April 22. With the defeat, the Beavers dipped to 15-18 overall (8-10 HCAC) after taking only one in the three-game series. MSJ improved to 11-20 (4-14 HCAC).

The lone piece of the village water plant building on Triplett Drive just north of Steinmetz Field will soon be history. Jamie Mehaffie, village administrator, will report to Bluffton council on Monday that the building will be removed.
In his council report, Mehaffie says the village has already removed the clear well and aeration structure on that site. The building removal is in conjunction wih the Bluffton schools construction project at Steinmetz Field.
The Pandora United Methodist Church will host a free community meal on Wednesday, April 25, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora.
The meal this month is Scalloped Potatoes/Ham, green beans, applesauce, roll, coleslaw and cake.
Students from Bluffton High School will connect with their peers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as a part of an interactive videoconference program at 9 a.m. Monday, April 23, according to Molly Levine, Communications Manager of Global Nomads Group.
This is part of a series of live-dialogue videoconference that are part of a social entrepreneur program that allows the students to learn business skills while raising awareness and funds.
