Bluffton elementary is a busy place in March. Here are some of the events underway. Attached is the March elementary newsletter, that provides additional details.
TESTING DAYS: Students in grades 3-5 take Ohio English Language Arts tests on March 30- 31. They take Ohio Math tests on April 20- 21. Fourth grade students take Ohio Social Studies tests on April 27- 28. Fifth grade students take Ohio Science tests on April 27- 28.
Bluffton businesses have an opportunity to introduce themselves to participants in this summer’s Ride to Remember bicycle ride, planned here on Saturday, July 8.
Ride planners invite businesses to provide gift items to fill 200 “cinch packs” for registered riders.

First Day of Spring Polka Party is on Monday, March 20, at 6 p.m. in the lower level of the library! Accordion music by Elaine Wehri. The Bluffton Senior Citizens Center partners with the library for this event to include stories, dancing, games, and refreshments. Please register by March 17. Don't forget to wear your polka dots and your dancing shoes!
Come to the library on Thursday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy an evening of familiar songs from the ‘60s performed by Doug Adams, folk singer and guitarist.
FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Bluffton University baseball team kicked off their Thursday morning against Alvernia College. The Beavers were unable to get anything going offensively as Bluffton dropped to 5-2 on the season after a 9-2 loss to the Crusaders.
KISSIMMEE, Fla. - After a day of relaxation in the heart of Central Florida, the Bluffton University softball team got right back to work, facing a pair of talented teams on Thursday, March 9. The morning kicked off with a 6-1 win against Widener College and then a 3-0 shutout of Penn State-Altoona in the afternoon.
