Sea cruise
Visitors of the Bluffton elementary lobby might think they are below sea level. The lobby display case offers under-the-sea art works by seond graders in Mrs. Liechty's class. After studying Henri Matisse, second graders created abstract collages with positive and negative organic shapes. Students separated their paper with masking tape and painted two panels with a cool watercolor wash. Matisse’s famous work, Beasts of the Sea was their inspiration.
