75-mile rest stop
The Hancock Handle Bars Bike Club Horizontal 100 mile bike ride had its traditional Bluffton bike stop on Sunday. The rest stop was a joint effort by the Findlay-based club and the Bluffton Lions Club. Approximately 300 bikers enjoyed a rest in Bluffton. Bikers refilled their water bottles, consumed energy snacks, rested and then continued on to complete the final 25 mile ride. This is the fifth year the Bluffton Lions assisted with the event. The Lions provided a display of enlarged photos of the Bluffton comprehensive Bike and Pedestrian Pathway Mast Plan for bikers to view, during their visit.
