Tree recognizes retiring chamber director
There's a new tree on Main Street. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce planted a tree in the Bluffton Public Library lawn recognizing retiring chamber director Fred Steiner. The plaque reads: "In recognition of Fred Steiner’s commitment and years of service to the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce." From left, Gen Akroyd, new chamber director, with board members, Luke Young, Mark Alliman, Doug Luginbill, Phil Zimmerly, Fred Steiner, Larry Hoffman, Jason Brandt, Tammy Whitlow and Bob Inniger. Board members missing are Derek Dukes, Sally Siferd and Connie Kruse.
