Manhole rehabilitation
You've started to notice orange post sprouting up on Bluffton streets. Here's an example on Vance Street. Brenneman Excavating is rehabilitating 26 manholes around town. Additional manhole covers may be added later. The rehabilitation consist of new frames and covers along with rebuilding bottoms and a lining to create a water tight structure. This is one of the many phases the village is taking to eliminate inflow and infiltration into its wastewater system, according to Bryan Lloyd, assistant village administrator
