AEP schedules April 18 power outage for some Bluffton customers
American Electric Power has announced a planned power outage for part of Bluffton on Saturday, April 18 from about 3:00-8:00 a.m. Affected customers will receive an automated voice message from AEP Ohio. Most of these customers are residential, but some are businesses. It will impact customers in the area of East of Chicago, Polished, Soft Water Coin Laundry and the neighborhood to the west, including Mennonite Memorial Home and Bluffton University facilities at 128 and 115 S Spring St. This is a planned and scheduled upgrade to prevent equipment failures.
