SEPT 4 MEDIA RELEASE__On Saturday, September 6, the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate both Fusion Designs on Elm and The Bluffton Art Company being part of our community for one year.

To celebrate their one year anniversaries, there will be ribbon cutting ceremonies at noon, as well as other fun activities such as:

- Food trucks

- Drawings for shopping spree gift cards (Fusion Designs on Elm)

- Rage in the alley discounts from 1-5pm (Fusion Designs on Elm)

MEDIA RELEASE__CreativeOhio is proud to announce the finalists for the 2025 CreativeOhio Champion Advocacy Awards, which will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. in the Great Gallery of the Toledo Museum of Art.

This year's luncheon highlights the Northwest Ohio region, celebrating community leaders, educators, businesses, and artists whose advocacy has strengthened the state's creative sector.

SEPT 3 MEDIA RELEASE__Thayer Road between Campbell Road and Searfoss Road will be closed for bridge replacement starting Monday, September 8 for 8 weeks.

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School girls tennis team lost a home makeup match to visiting Shawnee 4-1 on Wednesday, September 3.

The loss dropped the Pirate net record to 3-6 this season. The Indians improved to 3-3 with the win.

Despite a nagging shoulder injury, Hannah Nieman posted the Pirate win at first singles by a 6-4, 6-4 count over Brailynn Murphy.

MEDIA RELEASE__Lugabill Rd. between SR 696 and Phillips Rd will be closed for a paving project on Thursday, September 4 from 8:00 am 6:00 pm.

FINDLAY__The visiting Bluffton High School girls soccer team lost a non-league match to Liberty-Benton 4-1 on Wednesday, September 3.

The Pirate girls fell to 2-3 with the defeat, while the Eagles improved to 3-2-1 after the win.

Bluffton ace Aubrey Burkholder netted the lone Pirate goal in the 74th minute to avoid the shutout.

Liberty-Benton jumped in front early as Ally Ferris found the back of the net in the second minute. Isabelle Miller tallied in the 11th minute to go ahead 2-0.
