TREASURER’S REPORT
Treasurer Paula Parish provided a report, noting that the FY’ 2024-2025 audit was clean and completed by the Auditors of the State of Ohio. The Bluffton Public Library budget starting May 26, 2026 through January 1, 2027 was presented to the Board.

MEDIA RELEASE_More than 500 swimmers and their families will descend on Kenton July 10 and 11, 2026 for the 44th Western Ohio Aquatics League (WOAL) Championship. The WOAL meet is for swimmers aged 5 to 18 who are members of a league team.

The Kenton Municipal Swimming Pool is the host site for the 2026 Swim Champs and will host teams from Ada, Bluffton, Findlay, Kenton, Shawnee Country Club, Wapakoneta, Westside and Van Wert. These eight teams will compete for the 2026 league title. 

Swiss Community Historical Society enters a new era with museum and staffing

The June 28 celebration of Swiss Day by members of the Swiss Community Historical Society of Bluffton and Pandora was extra sweet. We’re not talking about going back for seconds at the dessert table: it’s because the potluck meal and business meeting were held at the society’s Swiss Heritage Center for the first time.

FROM BSC HAPPENINGS_The Bluffton Senior Center will host its July monthly meeting on Monday, July 13 at 6:00 p.m. 

The program, led by Mike Buettner will give participants the facts on the history of the Dixie Highway, a highway that runs right down Main Street of Bluffton. Senior Center member, Frank Roidt, also turns 90 in July and will be celebrated during the July dinner meeting. He will be offered a red rose and life membership.
