Mary Jane Pratt Eikenbary, 90, of Bluffton died at 9:57 a.m., Aug. 29, 2013, at the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born May 23, 1923, in Hardin County to Oren and Nellie Witham Pratt who preceded her in death. On Sept. 1, 1940 she married Paul Eikenbary who died on Oct. 4, 2001.
Mrs. Eikenbary attended the Grace Gospel Church in Ada earlier in her life and later attended the First United Methodist Church in Bluffton.
BFR Sports and Fitness annual meeting date is set, according to Carole Enneking, BFR director.
The meeting is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, at BFR, 215 Snider Road. The meeting, open to the public, will include reports of operations, installation of new board members and election of officers.
The Bluffton Public Library is working on its winter holiday gift silent auction, according to Cindi Chasse, library administrator.
The library welcomes silent auction donations from patrons and businesses now through Oct. 12. The third annual holiday gift silent auction begins with an after-hours ticketed preview event on Friday, Nov. 8.
