The Bluffton High School Drama Club is rehearsing the “Big Bad Musical” in preparation for performances at 7:30 p.m. on November 12 and 13 on the Bluffton Middle School stage, 116 S Jackson St.

General admission tickets will be on sale at the door for $5.00 adults, $2.00 students. Doors open at 6:30.

The cast is Jordyn Garmatter, Kiera Rieman, Daniel Creeger, Sabina Clingerman, Caitlyn Couch, Megan Gunnett, Avery Kinn, Ian Rieman, Cole Bowers, Rebecca Estell, Asa Clingerman, Ava Schleeter, Cora Koontz and Genesis Ochoa. The musical is directed by Kevin Gratz.

The Et Cetera Shop, 327 N Main St,  is one of fifteen downtown merchants participating in the annual Downtown Christmas Open House on November 5 and 6.

The thrift store is having a wreath sale: all wreaths will be half price. Other Christmas stock includes fabric, gift bags, greeting cards, wrapping paper, tinsel, knickknacks,  garlands,  baubles and trees.

Et Cetera Shop supports the relief, development and peace work of the Mennonite Central Committee. The organization’s motto is “where every purchase is a gift to the world!”

Ruth Ann Augustine, 81 of Rawson passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Ruth was born on January 1, 1940 in Bluffton to the late Conner and Clara (Burry) Stewart. She married Jerry D. Augustine on October 17, 1958 and he survives along with a daughter, Becky (Larry) Bucher of Mt. Cory, son, Jim (Jennifer) Augustine of Rawson and daughter-in-law, Tammy Augustine of Rawson. 

Siefker Real Estate and Auctio Co. LTD has announced the public auction of 90 +/- Acres Farmland In 3 Parcels. The property is located in Section 25 of Pleasant Twp and Section 30 of Riley Twp., Putnam County, OH.

The auction location is the Columbus Grove American Legion Hall, 405 Plum St. Columbus Grove, OH.

The Bluffton Public Library,  145 S. Main St., has scheduled several Thanksgiving-themed activies for children, teens, and adults.

At 10 a.m. on November 17 the Bluffton Public Library will stream Storytime on Facebook Live. Join online to enjoy books about Thanksgiving, being thankful, and Native American stories.
