The community that eats together...
It was only the second community dinner, but it was nearly a full house. The Bluffton Area Ministerial Association recently launched a twice-a-month community dinner.
The dinners are open to the public for the purpose of food, fellowship and fun. Dinners are from 6 to 6:45 p.m., at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, Main Street.
Emmanuel United Church of Christ served the Oct. 15 dinner. The menu consisted of four types of soup, sandwiches and an assortment of desserts. The next meal is Nov. 5. Members of the Ebenezer Mennonite congregation will serve the meal. Additional information about the event is in the church tab. The dinners are open to the public.
