Brandon Anspach, a junior from Rawson, was a member of the Ohio Northern University's Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Baja team that finished fifth overall at the Baja SAE Birmingham competition held April 14-17.

Fifty-eight teams from several countries, including the United States, Canada, South Korea and Mexico, traveled to Birmingham, Ala., for the event.

Pandora council heard a presentation from a representative of Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) on May 10. The agency provides services for municipal income tax collections for municipalities. Charles Hawk of RITA gave the presentation.

The agency handles all municipal tax matters, including annual returns, employer withholdings and delinquencies. Their costs are contingent on several criteria, such as the number of returns, the amount of taxes collected and litigation.

Pandora-Gilboa's 2011 commencement is at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 29, in the school gymnasium. The class includes 46 seniors.
