Melinda M. Bowden of PromoHits! Ltd., Bluffton, recently passed the certification examination administered by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) to receive the Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS) industry certification.

The CAS designation is one of only two of the promotional products industry's professional designations. The CAS is acquired through a combined result of number of years active in the industry, completed courses, industry contributions and other criteria.

PPAI is the promotional products industry's only international not-for-profit trade association. It offers education, trade shows, publications, business produts and services, mentoring, technology and legislative support to its more than 7,500 global members.
