Twenty-one-year-old Stanton Steiner poses with his first, and probably the family’s first motor car.
It’s a 1924 or ’25 Ford Model T “Doctors” Coupe. The picture was taken in a barnyard on his parent’s farm on Columbus Grove Road midway between Pandora Road and State Route 696. His parents were Sam and Sarah (Neuenschwander) Steiner.

Here are stories involving recent Bluffton University men's and women's basketball and indoor track.
Indoor track
The Bluffton University Beavers kicked off their indoor track season with the "2021 Friday Night Spikes Opener" at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were unable to compete in an outdoor track season, so this was the first live competition the Beavers had seen since the 2020 indoor track season.

Icon: You graduated from Bluffton High School in 2019. What have you been doing since then?
I’ve been attending Bluffton University, majoring in Elementary Education and Intervention Specialist. I’m involved in my church, St. John Mennonite, and in the Concert Band here at the university.
What are your goals after you graduate?
I want to teach elementary school and start working towards my master's in school administration.
Howard Triplehorn, who graduated from Bluffton High School in 1931, was the first Pirate to play in the Big Ten.
At one time three Bluffton High School athletic records belonged to Triplehorn, who eventually played football at the University of Michigan. He held several additional athletic records at BHS, which are in this article.
His records included the BHS football’s career scoring title at 345 points (it stood for 70 seasons when Zac Kohli scored 354 points in 2001).
