VAN WERT__The Bluffton High School girls golf team lost a dual match to Fort Loramie at Hickory Sticks Golf Course in Van Wert on Monday, August 18.
The Pirate girls lost 178-227.
Katie Bauman led Bluffton with a nine-hole score of 50.
FL’s Brooke Gehret was match medalist after firing a 40. Four Redskins - Kim Billing, Madison Pleiman, Macy Schafer and Ava Schafer - each carded a 47 to tie for second.
Ada is throwing a big party in celebration of football--and especially footballs and football teams that are "Made in Ada." The 9th annual Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival on the evening of Saturday, August 23 will have all of the music, food and games that are essential to a great party, as well as plenty of Bulldog, Polar Bear and NFL spirit.
Ada is the home of the Wilson Football factory which supplies balls for all levels of play up to and including the NFL and the Super Bowl. AUG 14 MEDIA RELEASE__The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting for Inside Innovations, Inc., a woman-owned, full-service interior design studio and shop, at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22 at 125 N. Main Street. A community open house will follow. The event is free and open to the public, area businesses and media.
Inside Innovations, Inc. has served clients for nearly 34 years. Formerly based in Findlay, the studio now calls Bluffton home under the leadership of owner and Lead Designer, Brooke Place. The new studio features an extensive library of interior fabrics, custom furniture, floor and wall coverings and window treatments, along with a curated Inside Innovations, Inchome furniture and décor shop at the front of the space.
