Still time to enter Blaze parade
The Blaze of Lights committee invites local organizations, businesses, families or individuals to consider entering the Blaze of Lights parade.
The parade forms at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, at The Centre parking lot, 601 N. Main St. The parade starts at 5 p.m. The parade route goes from The Centre to College Avenue.
Persons interested in entering should contact Junior Weihrauch, parade chairperosn, 20791 State Route 68, Arlington, Ohio 45814. His phone number is 419-365-5304.
The deadline for entering this year's parade is Friday, Nov. 21. Three floats will win prizes this year. Judging will take place prior to the parade. Winners will be announced along the parade route.
Weihrauch said that as of Oct. 22 there were over 25 units registered for thie parade. That number was greater than last year's units who had registered by October. That indicates that this year's parade should be larger than last year's.
