Krysti's Music Studio has three recitals coming up. Each recital features different performers and pieces.

Recitals are held at Rockport United Methodist Church (5505 Rockport Rd, Columbus Grove address). The recitals are free and open to the public.

"Come listen to some great music and support these students who have been working so hard to prepare their pieces," said Krysti.

Book ReViews, 123 S. Main St., will hold a "really big sidewalk book sale," during the Saturday, May 21, arts and crafts show.

During the sale hardbacks are $1, paperbacks are 50 cents and children's books are 25 cents.

$2.1 million capital campaign project

You might say that a Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) capital campaign announced at the May 13 Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast breaks the mold in skilled nursing care.

MHCO representatives unveiled plans for a $2.1 million capital campaign during the breakfast attending by over 50 chamber members.

Dave York Sports, Inc., of Louisville, Ky., was awarded a bid of $64,550 for installing new bleachers at Harmon Field. The bid was accepted on Monday by the Bluffton school board.

In other signification action involving funds, the Bluffton board awarded its 2011-12 school district insurance plan to Fawcett, Lammon, Recker and Associates. The contract totals $38,123 and covers fleet, property and liability insurance for the district effective July 1 through June 30, 2012.
