MEDIA RELEASE__Allen County Public Health today announced it has successfully completed a review process to maintain national accreditation status through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). In maintaining its accreditation status for another five years, Allen County Public Health has demonstrated that it meets PHAB’s quality standards and measures and has the capacity to continue to evolve, improve and advance to continue improving the health of the residents of Allen County.

MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton University will hold its annual Christmas Forum at 11 a.m. on Dec. 2 in Yoder Recital Hall.

This celebratory gathering brings the campus community together to reflect on the season of Advent and prepare for the Christmas holiday through music, readings and reflection.

This Forum is free and open to the public.

Forum at Bluffton University provides a public space for interdisciplinary discovery about the personal, local and global challenges faced by students, faculty, staff and the Bluffton community. ◾️

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov 22, the Village of Bluffton Cultural Affairs Committee will lead volunteers in the set up of the Harry and Dorothy Ream holiday folk art display at Bluffton Presbyterian Church, 112 N. Main. Set up involves placing and staking some 200 cut-out wood figures depicting all kinds of Christmas scenes. Individuals, families and groups are welcome.

The Trustees of Orange Township met in regular session on October 9, 2025 and provided minutes of the meeting, which are included the attached compilation of minutes for January-October 2025.

MEDIA RELEASE__The Bluffton High School S.A.D.D. Club has announced a Winter Coat and Sock Drive now through December 5.

Students are collecting the following items:

COATS SOCKS CASH DONATIONS

  • New socks and coats
  • Used coats in clean/good condition
  • Cash will be used for the cost of washing used coats

Remaining funds will be given to the Bluffton Food Pantry to use to purchase needed items.
